Supporting transition, retention and progression

A key issue identified in many of the plans and strategies of partner organisations is the need to improve support for transition at 16, and retention at 17, as well as for progression from level 2 to level 3.

 

This theme draws together activities focused on enhancing the provision of good quality information, advice and guidance, and support for the transition into post-16 education, retention and progression of vulnerable students and activities targeted at Gifted and Talented students from the widening participation cohort, including those following vocational routes.
